Girl, Get The F*** Up: It’s Time to Create

I’ve decided not to point the finger or drown myself in regret about what I should’ve done differently. No more starting with “I wish…” or “If only…” Instead, I choose to sit down, eyes closed, and create. Create her, the version of me I want to be.

Just like that, it’s time to get up.

Lately, I’ve been feeling uncomfortable and disappointed, like I should be somewhere else, further along with minimal effort and minimal prayer. But when I paused to reflect, I realized, it’s okay. Lessons learned.

So yeah, it’s time to get up. Dedicate yourself. Stop telling yourself you can’t or that you don’t want to. This isn’t about what you want, it’s about what you have to do.

You feel off because you’re not using yourself the way you should. Girl, get up. Actually, girl get the f* up** sometimes you gotta throw in a little curse word to make yourself move quicker.

Start new. Start over. Whatever you have to do to become her.

No more excuses. Every time you hesitate to do something knowing it will benefit the person you want to be the longer it takes, the longer it’s delayed.

No more waiting for motivation or permission.
